This looks like another smart move on her part. Haley Scarnato is being stalked and forced to leave Nashville. Poor gal! -Kellie Pickler was nominated for best new female vocalist by the ACMs. Seems a little late doesn't it? This year's five new "Idol" themed Edy's flavors: Cheesecake Diva (cheesecake light ice cream with brownie bites and fudge swirls); Cookies 'N Dreamz (chocolate light ice cream with chocolate cookie); Mint Karaoke Cookie (mint light ice cream with chocolate cookies); Most Orange-inal (vanilla light ice cream with orange sorbet); and One Split Wonder (banana light ice cream with fruit and fudge).

No cash, no sweat as firms swop goods online
Barter, that age-old form of trade, is heating up here, with the Internet as a modern-day matchmaker. A multimillion-dollar business has mushroomed online for mainly small businesses to exchange goods and services. Two online brokerages here raked in close to $4 million in transactions this year and membership is booming. One member is beauty salon owner Daisy Leng, who this year saved $2,800 on advertising and computer software, which she paid for with her beauty products instead of cash. 'The savings are very important to a small setup like mine,' said Ms Leng, now a regular barter trader. Another local set-up, accounting software company A2000 Solutions, saved $10,000 on printing by redeeming credits earned from selling accounting software in a barter trade.

It is a powerful testament in the modern world that the values which unite nations create the most enduring bonds of all. Australia has been beside the United States in every military conflict of consequence in which your country has been involved since our soldiers first fought together at the Battle of Hamel, in France, on 4 July, 1918. Important though that history of military cooperation may be, important though our political, economic and cultural ties might be, they are dwarfed by the commonality of the values that we share.

Booby-trapped web pages are growing at an alarming rate with unsuspecting firms acting for nurseries for botnet farmers, according to a new study. Security watchers at Sophos are discovering 6,000 new infected webpages every day, the equivalent of one every 14 seconds. Four in five (83 per cent) of these webpages actually belong to innocent companies and individuals, unaware that their sites have been hacked. Websites of all types, from those of antique dealers to ice cream manufacturers and wedding photographers, have hosted malware on behalf of virus writers, Sophos reports. .
